The 2nd Annual"Serving Honor and Need" Golf
Tournament
Monday May 20, 2013 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
This year’s “Serving
Honor and Need” golf tournament to benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation has found
a new course to host this event.
IRIS Fire Investigations is proud to
host the 2nd annual Gary Sinise “Serving Honor and Need” Golf Tournament at the Eisenhower Golf Club on the grounds of the
United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs Colorado.
Named after former President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who
took part in the dedication ceremony, it is a modern scenic facility with two
18-hole courses: the championship Blue, and the stunning Silver.
Named
the top golf course in the Department of Defense by Travel and Leisure Golf
magazine, and a member of USA Today's Top 100 courses in the nation. The Blue's
layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones and measures more than 7,300 yards
from the championship tees, 6,516 from the regular tees and 5,559 from the
forward tees. The Silver is a demanding golf course with a premium placed on
accuracy rather than length. The course measures 6,519 yards from the
championship tees and 5,215 from the forward tees.
The opportunities to
play a historic course on the grounds of the United States Air Force Academy do
not present itself very often. As such, we are making this year’s
tournament more attractive for more participates to show their support for our
veteran’s. Included in the price is lunch, dinner, a golf clinic before
the tournament and opportunities to purchase autographed merchandise, suitable
for framing, to memorialize your participation
There are many opportunities to participate; from a single golfer, a foursome, corporate sponsorship, hole sponsorships, refreshment sponsorship and many more.

A schedule conflict will prevent Gary from playing this year, but the merit and importance of this cause and The Gary Sinise Fountain remains.
