TEA PARTY

I will be the MC at a Tea Party on April 15th. It will be held downtown at noon. Organizers are trying to get permission to use Acacia Park. I'll give you more details as they are made final.

Richard,

Perhaps you are expecting far too many people to show up for the Tea Party to accommodate the streets around City Hall, but isn't the point of the Tea Party to make a statement to the local, state, and national government about taxation without representation and other unfair taxation (like Storm water Fees)? If that is the point, why not have the Tea Party in front of our own local RINOs at city hall? Either way, we're with you, Richard.

Richard,

Unfortunately I can't make the Tea Party as I'll out of town. However, besides the "Tea Party" why not take a page out of the 60's (ala women's rights) and have everyone bring a copy of their 1040 forms and burn them. Ensure it's a copy and not the real forms as we don't want people getting burned any more than they are on their taxes.

Richard,

I love this great Repubulic that we call The United States of America, so I will be there on the 15th at the Tea Party. I am writing to remind or alert others to the fact that there are people or groups that will be there as well and they are going to try and undermine our cause. We the people have the responsibility and duty to uphold and maintain our Constitution and there are those out there that think this is about a party or a President. Please remember this and stay focused and vigilant. This is about America, and I guess there are some that consider what we ae doing as 'hate based', show them the truth. It is not hate, perhaps they want it to be, but it is not!! Stay on course!!
