Honor THE “Greatest Generation”
Honor Flight of Southern Colorado launched with the intent of sending our
Southern Colorado Veterans to Washington D.C. With NORAD and USNORTHCOM, Fort Carson, the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson & Schriever Air Force Bases all located in Southern Colorado, it just made sense. We are dedicated to transporting as many of our approximately 23,000 Veterans to their memorials.

Their Mission
Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's Veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to
Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior Veterans – World War II Veterans, along with those other Veterans who may be terminally ill.

Of all of the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation—and as a culturally diverse, free society. Now, with over one thousand World War II Veterans dying each day, our time to express our thanks to these rave men and women is running out.

Green Cards for Al Qaeda
directed by: Surya Iacono
Plot Summary;
Terrorists are entering the United States through all of its borders, the US-Canadian border, US-Mexican border, through its waterways and private airports. This documentary pieces together many stories never before revealed to the public by undercover federal agents, the senior council to the 9/11 Commission, local and state law enforcement officials, and terrorism experts. Combining their expert testimony and stories with my personal story of why I made the this film, America's non-war on terrorism will be revealed and how each of us is affected everyday.

I will be part of this event. I be reading names for an hour either Sunday or Monday morning. I have done it in the past and can tell you it is a very simple, respectful and powerful event. It is neither pro-war, nor anti-war. It simply remembers all of those who have given their lives for our freedoms.

It is estimated that during this year's reading we will read over 5,000 names. Beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 and continuing through 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, an estimated 18 hours, we will pay our respects to these men and women by reading their names, ages, hometowns and military units. This is my mother.
Almost every single thing inside of me that is good can be traced back to her.
She died early, way too early, but I still try to make her proud.
Have a ways to go, but am working on it every day.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life. ~Abraham Lincoln

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness. ~Honoré de Balzac

All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his. ~Oscar Wilde, The Importance of Being Earnest, 1895

Of God, at price no man may dare
To lessen or misunderstand.
~Helen Hunt Jackson

I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights. ~Terri Guillemets

[A] mother is one to whom you hurry when you are troubled. ~Emily Dickinson

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving

Today's guest was retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley
He runs Extreme Seal Experience

As a retired Navy SEAL of 24-years service, I train, direct, supervise, and I'm responsible for every aspect of the Navy SEAL BUD/S Preparation Training conducted here.

All my friends are Navy SEALs, family members are Navy SEALs, all our Training Instructors are Navy SEALs, and when you get through BUDS Training in the Navy, you'll be stationed in San Diego or "here" in Norfolk, Virginia at a SEAL Team.

I work my ASS OFF to show you guys, younger or older, what Navy SEAL, BUDS Training and ALL US Military Special Forces training programs are like.

I keep the prices as LOW as possible, and provide BUD/S Preparation Training here that is only second to actual SEAL Training in the Navy.

Guys come here to better themselves through adversity, they come here to “WIN.” Nobody pays for a course to lose or feel bad about themselves, nobody comes here to take last place, get embarrassed, or be humiliated.

There is NEVER a good reason to lower someone’s self esteem or confidence.

There is NEVER a good reason to destroy someone’s dreams.

Running a “Proper” training course requires skill, YEARS of experience, and die-hard motivation to get it right and show guys what SEAL Training in the Navy really like.

Grab a weapon; get on the Helo… I’ll show you what Special Forces Training is like… and you'll have a HOOT...
