The location is Giuseppe's Old Depot Restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs. The train is returning from Pueblo to Denver as part of the first steam excursion to the Colorado State Fair. The train didn't run this year because of the DNC... but should return next year.
October 26, 1871, the first passenger train stopped at the soon-to-be Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Depot in the infant city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The glorious parade ended in 1971, when the last passenger train faded from view...
