HERE IS THE LATEST ACCORDING TO THE EL PASO COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY

Colorado Springs Tax Day Tea Party
Change of Venue:
Event will take place at ACACIA PARK. Still beginning at NOON on Wednesday, April 15th.
PRESS RELEASE:
“Colorado Springs Tea Party”
Citizens Prepare to Gather in Protest of Wasteful Government Spending

NATIONAL- On April 15th the DontGo Movement (www.dontgomovement.com) in collaboration with Newt Gingrich, Michelle Malkin, Top Conservatives on Twitter, and Smart Girl Politics will be hosting Tax Day Tea Parties in every state in America. There are Tea Parties in over 150 cities that are going to occur on April 15th. The Colorado Springs Tea Party will start at the Pioneer Museum (215 South Tejon) at noon and march as a group to City Hall (107 North Nevada).

Insert Note: Bring signs and at least one nonperishable food item to donate to Care & Share Foodbank.

The Obama Stimulus, Omnibus, and Budget are borrowing or printing an unprecedented amount of money. It’s the largest giveaway in American History. Even the Congressional Budget Office says that the Stimulus Bill will create few jobs in 2009 and 2010, but will instead cause dangerously high levels of inflation as the Federal Government writes blank checks that our children and grandchildren will have to repay.

The goal of these protests is to call attention to the unprecedented wasteful spending by the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress. In the spirit of showing that people would rather help their neighbors out in times of crisis through charity than government bureaucracy, we are also holding a food drive, with all food items going to Care and Share Foodbank.

Richard,
The Like No Other Bakery will close Wednesday to attend and show support for the Tax Day Tea Party gathering at Acacia Park.
Also, a friend of the bakery, Jeff Morin, (a COS small businessman) has sent you one of his Tea Party shirts.
He's one of the good guys!
See you in the AM.
Nancy and Keith Johnson
